“Hammer of the Witches” is a legendary book of European inquisitors if the Middle Ages. In the period of time between the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries a mere mentioning this book caused fear and terror. The frightening book that provided the reason to kill thousands of people in Europe is studied by both the historians and esoterics.

It was written in 1486 by the who monks from the Order of Preachers, Jacob Sprenger and Heinrich Kramer. These two brethren were the famous hunters for witches though their actions were criticized even by the clergy. The approval of the Pope Innocent the eighth of this book made it the desk companion of inquisitors. The style of Hexenhammer was maximum close to the laic one and was accessible equally for both the clergy and the jury. It was published more than 30 times, mostly in French and German. The authors of Hexenhammer had good knowledge of demonology which allowed them to combine ancient Roman legends with religious rules. The instruction how to hunt and prosecute a witch was developed in the three parts.

I hate cult followers because they prevent me from the communication with my friends and making a choice to live the way I want to. The press is bribed by the cult leaders. When I turn my telly on I see the attributes of different cults in the outfits of the public figures and they don’t even try to hide this. Almost all of my friends give some hints that they possess some great mysterious knowledge. The strangers come up to me in the streets and try to convince me that I don’t feel the joy of life and I will have the possibility to enter the circle of the adepts.

There are little people who are able to give a definite answer to the question what yoga is. Some people erroneously suppose yoga to be a part of Hindu or Buddhism. Actually yoga is the specific vision of life, the philosophical teaching and lifestyle, of course. The followers of the teaching are frequently depicted frozen in various asanas.

The poses and gestures used in yoga, they are called asanas and mudras coordinately, are aimed to get the total control of our body and emotions. In the ancient times people believed that Hindu gods were the masters of communication via mudras. In the Middle Ages the Buddhist monks were able to lead the negotiations and contract peace without pronouncing a single word. “Mudra” is the ancient word which is f a Sanskrit origin. It denotes “hands position”, “lock” or “symbol”. According the the yoga teaching mudra is a certain psychological state or rueful feelings expressed by a gesture. Those who practice yoga believe that mudras are able to control the energy flows in the human body and that is why they are extremely useful for improving one’s health, self-analyzing and self-study. In the most cases the yoga fans pay much more attention for the health and body strength than for self-development.
